Sorry for the questions, I am still learning.

I have recieved 11 of the items I ordered for Kit so far. (still no Kit, lol)

All but three of the boxes are solid, matte maroon with a gold logo of a little girl reading.
Three of the boxes are a shinier maroon with a marbled look and full color pictures of the historical girls for the logo.

What is the difference? Are some of the boxes older? Does this mean the content of these boxes is also older? Just curious.

By the way- WOW.I can not believe the quality and detail of everything I have ordered.

The boxes that have the pictures of the dolls are older. They are from year 2000-2002. the boxes with the more shiny maroon and the gold are year 2003 and up.

I've always been told that the only silly question is the one you never bothered to ask.

Thanks so much everyone. Thank you for the link to the site too.
I really appreciate everyone being so kind and helpful. I always feel bad asking so many questions and knowing I do not have anything to "give back" right now.
These dolls are still so new to me, and yet they have completely won my heart. I love reading about them and learning as much as I can.Maybe one day I will know enough to help answer someone else's questions.
Thanks again everyone.
